WRIGHT MIDDLE SCHOOL STEAM & Gifted MAGNETS SCHOOL UNIFORM POLICY / DRESS CODE GUIDELINE
SCHOOL DRESS CODE:
No jerseys, tank tops, cropped tops, strapless and/or spaghetti strap blouses
No jeans, cut offs, short shorts, jeans, jeggings, stretch pants, sagging pants, pajama tops or bottomsNo platform, strapless, open toe shoes, athletic sandals, flip flops, or bedroom slippers. Closed toe shoes only
No gang affiliated attire or shirts with inappropriate language or drawingsNo athletic company/ team names, designs or patterns, or logos or insignias (except Wright Middle School logo)
No hats or caps in class. Only Wright Middle School hats and caps/beanies are permitted outside only.No long belts, chains, studded bracelets, studded belts or neckbands
No clothing considered too revealing, too tight or allowing undergarments to show.UNIFORM POLICY:
TOPS:
All polo shirts, shirts, and blouses must be white or any shade of blue and have a collar.
Shirts and blouses must fit properly and cover midriff and chest and tucked in.
PANTS/SHORTS/SKIRTS/SKORTS:
Shorts and skirts must be knee length.
Pants and shorts must be fitted at waist, crotch and length.
All pants/shorts/skirts /skorts must be black, beige or navy blue, any shade of blue jeans (with no holes or rips).
OUTERWEAR:
Sweatshirt pullover hooded – blue or black with WMS logo. College sweatshirts and tee shirts are acceptable.
WMS (Wright Middle School) would like to remind all our families that there is a Magnet Uniform Code Policy, enclosed in the parent/student handbook and Magnet school e-choices brochure that all students must follow.
