Principal's Message

Seahawk Families,
Welcome to a new academic year at Orville Wright Middle School! I am delighted and honored to be serving as your principal for 2024-25 school year. I want to extend my warmest greetings to all students and families. Our dedicated staff is committed to providing a nurturing and challenging environment where every student can grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
At Wright, we believe in fostering a love for learning, encouraging curiosity, and promoting critical thinking skills. Our focus is not only on academic excellence but also on building strong character and instilling the R.E.A.L (Respect, Empathy, Ambition and Leadership) values that will serve our students well beyond the classroom. We will also continue to enhance our support services to ensure a holistic development for each student.
To make this academic year successful, we need the active involvement and support of parents and guardians. Your partnership is crucial, and I encourage you to stay engaged with your child's education, attend school events, become a volunteer, get involved with our incredible PTO and school site committees, and communicate with teachers regularly.
Our doors are always open, and we are here to listen and address any concerns you may have. Let's work together to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment where all students feel valued and empowered to reach their full potential. I am confident that with the collective effort of our staff, students, parents, and community, we will achieve great things this year.
Thank you for choosing to be a part of the Orville Wright Family. I look forward to a fantastic year ahead!
