Welcome Seahawks scholars and families to the 2024-2025 school year at Wright Middle School STEAM & Gifted Magnets!
I am so excited to see you. I’m looking forward to a fantastic year of academic success and personal growth for each of you.
Get ready to have some fun getting to know your peers and our Wright community during our W.O.W week (Week of Welcome)! You will learn about what it means to Be R.E.A.L (respect, empathy, ambition, and leadership) and participate in engaging community and team building activities.
This year you will have opportunities to investigate real-world problems and create your own solutions through collaboration and communication with your peers, critical thinking, and creativity. Our scholars are the most creative! Your teachers will engage you in standards-based, relevant, and high-quality learning opportunities through our STEAM and Gifted programs. Wright will provide meaningful and fun electives that reflect our STEAM themes and allow you to explore your passions. Most importantly, your Wright staff will continue to be a collaborative and supportive partner in your education.
The resiliency, perseverance, and flexibility you have shown in your lives is to be commended. And, I am excited to celebrate you in our awards assemblies this year. You can message me anytime.
